What do you feel are the origins of ART?
Art originates from one’s psyche or soul, or so I feel.

What is the importance of the Sphere in your work?
I found out that the language of spheres came as a natural expression of my soul when I started working on my thesis in college. I later learned more about circles and their symbolic significance representing patterns and cycles of life and movement, and the importance of the ancient lessons that the sun, the moon, and the planets in the Cosmos have for us to learn as human beings. The importance of spheres in my work also has to do with the meaning of ripples and raindrops, and being in motion with the ocean. What is most important to me though, Is the significance of the message of the Spheres in my work.
As an Artist what is the significance of doing Transformative Art in these times, in this century in the now?
I feel that our planet right now is going through a lot of internal sorrow, and many souls are crying for healing. There is no better time to do Transformative Art than now. Only as we heal ourselves, do we do our part in healing Mother Earth. Art is the language of the soul and the voice of the Universe. I feel that it is the most effective means of awakening and healing the psyche. It has the power to inform and transform an ill mind, a broken heart, and dis-eased body. It is the activity and process that will free your mind, unchain your heart, and transform our soul. I consider Transformative Art as the process of transforming – the Art of Your Being – Truly Human

As a visual artist, Jaja Dario specializes with intuitive work in color perspective, which when speaking in the Language of the Soul is also referred to as light and sound vibration. She brings color energy into the surface of her paintings and harmonizes these vibrations into balance and unity in a single-still image.
After almost a decade of self-discovery and soul remembrance throughout the creation and manifestation of her art work, Jaja’s experiences in her journey as a student, teacher, and artist have taken her to personally witness the transformative potential and power that color and song can provide in the healing of the mind, heart, and soul, and for the awakening of the ego to Self.
Her paintings are the result of a very profound and intimate direct-experience with the Uni-Verse that has evolved into a unique form of energy painting and pioneering method of creative color energy meditation.
Born in Los Angeles in 1979, Jaja Dario was raised in Manila where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts-Paintings from the University of the Philippines in 2004. She is founder and owner of Art of the Spheres and currently works in her studio located in Atwater Village, at the heart of Silverlake, California.
